You are not considered sterile until you have a semen analysis confirming that there is no sperm in the semen. This should occur no sooner than six weeks after your vasectomy and 25 ejaculations.

The at-home post-vasectomy semen collection kit allows you to take a semen sample that will be used to identify whether sperm is present in the semen after a vasectomy procedure. After the six weeks and 25 ejaculations, you take a sample and use this kit to send your sample back to the lab.

This kit contains all necessary items to collect and send back semen to our lab for sperm identification after vasectomy. A pre-postage mailing stamp is located on the kit so that you don’t have to leave the comfort and privacy of their own homes.
